We publish plain-English pricing, guides, and brand reviews, and we match homeowners with vetted local installers who send them quotes directly.

Who writes this

Our guides and reviews are written and maintained by the GoSolar PH editorial team. We are an independent research team — not a solar installer, and not licensed engineers or financial advisers — and every figure we publish is sourced and dated. We base pricing on typical installed costs quoted by Philippine installers and cross-check figures against utility rates, theDepartment of Energy, and net-metering rules underRA 9513 (the Renewable Energy Act). Numbers are estimates, not quotes, and we say so wherever they appear.

How we make money

Two ways, both disclosed. When you request a quote, we may be paid a referral fee by the installers we match you with — it never changes your price, and you are never obligated to buy. On our backup-power pages we use affiliate links (tagged rel="sponsored"); we may earn a commission on purchases made through them, again at no extra cost to you.

Our standard

• Every guide and review is fact-checked before it’s published — claims are verified against real sources, and anything we can’t confirm is corrected or removed.
• We quote price ranges, not invented single figures, because real installs vary by roof, brand, and installer.
• We update pages as prices, incentives, and rules change, and we show the date.
• We only recommend products and installers we would be comfortable pointing a family member to.
