This is the full price list for residential solar in the Philippines as of 2026: what a complete system costs installed, what each major component adds, and what falls outside the headline number. Every figure here is a range, because installed solar has no sticker price — the same 5kW array can differ by ₱150,000 between two roofs in the same city.

Price per watt and per kW

The two figures that make quotes comparable:

Divide any quote by its wattage. A 5kW system at ₱300,000 is ₱60/W — mid-band, reasonable. The same system at ₱425,000 is ₱85/W and needs explaining. Full method in the price per watt guide.

Battery prices

Storage is priced separately and is almost always the most expensive single addition. Compare on peso per usable kWh, never on sticker price.

Inverter prices

A plain grid-tied inverter is already inside the system prices above. You only pay this separately if you want battery storage, because a grid-tied unit cannot charge one.

What the headline price does not include

  • Net-metering application — fees and studies vary by utility. See net metering cost.
  • A hybrid inverter, if you add a battery to an existing grid-tied system. This is the cost people miss most often.
  • Electrical upgrades your house needs to pass inspection — older panel boards and undersized service entrances are common.
  • Roof repair. Panels last 25 years; if the roof under them won’t, fix it first.

Because no single price is true across installers. Roof type, panel brand, inverter tier, run length and the installer's own margin each move the total by tens of thousands of pesos. A range you can check a quote against is more useful than a number that is wrong for most roofs.

How much is one solar panel in the Philippines?

We do not publish per-panel sticker prices. Marketplace listings for bare panels move week to week and rarely include mounting, wiring, protection or labour, so a per-panel figure tells you very little about what a working system costs. Compare on installed price per watt instead.

What is not included in these prices?

Batteries, a hybrid inverter if your system needs one, net-metering application fees, and any electrical upgrade your house needs to pass inspection. Each is listed separately below.

Is solar cheaper if I buy a bigger system?

Per kW, usually yes. Fixed costs like scaffolding, permits and labour spread across more panels, which is why the per-kW figure drifts toward the lower end of the band as systems get bigger. The total still rises.

How do I check whether a quote is fair?

Divide the total by the system wattage to get price per watt, then compare against the ₱45-80 per watt band. That strips out size differences so two quotes for different system sizes become comparable.
