INVT Inverter Review (Philippines): No Local Channel Found

INVT Solar Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is a solar inverter and energy-storage subsidiary of INVT, an established Chinese industrial electronics group. The parent company makes variable-frequency drives, UPS systems and data-center power equipment; the solar arm, founded in 2015, covers hybrid inverters, on-grid string inverters from residential to commercial/industrial scale, off-grid inverters, and LFP battery storage.

That corporate backing is real, but it is not the question that decides this review. The question is whether a Filipino homeowner can actually buy INVT and have someone locally stand behind the warranty. We could not find that channel.

What we found — and what it isn’t

INVT’s own project gallery lists a 10kW residential hybrid installation in Manila, dated 2019, using two BD 50KTL single-phase hybrid inverters. That tells you INVT hardware has been installed here at least once. It does not tell you who sold it, who installed it, or whether that arrangement still exists six years later — the case study names no distributor or installer.

We also checked Compresstech Resources Inc., which markets itself as an authorized INVT distributor in the Philippines. Its site covers INVT’s industrial products — variable-frequency drives for air compressors and similar equipment — with no mention of solar inverters anywhere on the page. That distributor relationship, as far as we could verify, does not extend to the solar product line.

We found no INVT-branded official store on Lazada or Shopee Philippines, no named residential solar distributor, and no local installer publicly advertising the brand.

What “no channel” means in practice

  • No confirmed local warranty path. If a claim needs to be made, there is no Philippine party on record obligated to honour it.
  • Grey-market purchase risk. Anything you find would most likely be imported through an installer’s own supply arrangement, which may or may not include manufacturer-backed support.
  • No local technical support or spares. A crew that has never commissioned an INVT hybrid inverter has no local playbook to follow if something goes wrong.
  • We are not publishing specs or pricing for specific INVT models here. Without a confirmed Philippine channel, we cannot verify which SKUs, at what spec, are actually the ones being sold into this market — quoting a global datasheet as though it applied to a unit bought locally would be exactly the kind of unverifiable claim this site doesn’t make.

If an installer quotes you INVT equipment, ask directly: who is the Philippine distributor, who honours the warranty, and what happens if a part needs replacing in year five. See how to choose a solar installer for the full list of questions worth asking.

Who it’s best for

Hard to recommend today, not because the hardware is necessarily bad, but because there is no verifiable Philippine channel behind it. If you have a confirmed local supply arrangement with a written warranty, the underlying product may be fine — get that warranty in writing and name the party who honours it.

For a hybrid inverter with an established Philippine track record and installer familiarity, see Deye, Growatt or Solis. Our hybrid inverter price guide and what is a hybrid inverter cover what the category should cost and do before you compare a specific quote against it.
