Megarevo Inverter Review (Philippines): One Old Case Study, No Distributor

Shenzhen Megarevo Technology Co., Ltd. is a legitimate energy storage inverter manufacturer, established in 2018, with cumulative inverter deliveries over 2.2GW across more than 30 countries and membership in the SunSpec Alliance, the industry body that standardizes inverter communication protocols. It makes residential, commercial and industrial, and microgrid energy storage inverters. This is a more substantial manufacturer than several other brands in this review series.

We still could not find a current, named Philippine distributor, an official Lazada PH or Shopee PH store, or a local installer openly carrying the line.

The one thing we did find

Megarevo’s own website lists a case study titled “Residential Energy Storage in the Philippines” — a 5kW/10kWh installation using an R5KL1 inverter, dated September 2019. That confirms at least one Megarevo unit has been installed here. It does not name an installer, a distributor, or any local contact, and it is nearly seven years old with nothing more recent visible alongside it. One undated-partner case study from 2019 is evidence a unit reached the Philippines once, not evidence of an ongoing channel you could buy into today.

What that means in practice

• No accountable local party. Even with a documented past installation, there’s no current distributor whose name you could give an installer or chase for a warranty claim.
• Warranty path unclear. Megarevo’s standard channels run through its export sales team and regional dealers elsewhere (the company mentions Europe, Australia and Africa distribution more prominently); nothing Philippine-specific is published.
• No recent local track record to weigh against the 2019 case study — either the channel that installed it didn’t continue, or it operates quietly enough that we found no trace of it.

What Megarevo costs in the Philippines

No verifiable local pricing. Installed hybrid and storage inverter systems here run within the bands in our hybrid inverter price guide; if Megarevo appears in a quote, compare it on peso per watt against a brand with a confirmed local channel, and ask what discount is supposed to be buying you.

Who it’s best for

Hard to recommend as a first choice today, not because the hardware is disreputable — SunSpec membership and 2.2GW of deployments say otherwise — but because nothing currently connects that manufacturer to a Philippine buyer in an accountable way. If an installer has a real, current Megarevo supply arrangement, ask them to show you the distributor relationship in writing.
